Have you recently purchased an item that had a user's guide? Have you ever made such a purchase?
Chances are that you have. Now, be honest...do you always read the manual before using the new item?
No? Ever wish that you had? Did you ever discover that reading the manual can definitely be beneficial? If
you are like most of us, the answer is, "Yes!"

One of the most important user manuals ever written is the Bible. In His infinite wisdom, God has not left us
here on earth to fend for ourselves, but rather He has provided the best user's manual ever written, His Holy
Word. In these days of user-friendly language, think of the Bible as
God's Instruction Manual for Life.

If God has given to us such an important guide to life, why don't more people use it? The answer to this
question varies from person to person. Individual beliefs, experiences, and ideas combine to formulate a
spectrum of answers. Yet keep this in mind: though we can neither see God nor speak to Him face to face,
we can read the Bible in faith and know without doubt that God will use His Holy Word to guide us through
this journey we call "life."

With the same confidence, we can use Bible verses in our prayer lives.
Look at the following promise from God Almighty.

"So shall My word be which goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me empty,
Without accomplishing what I desire,
And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it."
Isaiah 55:11
